Smartphones are now a part of everyday life across Bangladesh — from fishing villages in Chattogram to office districts in Dhaka, nearly everyone carries an Android or iPhone. wg8 built its mobile app with exactly this reality in mind. The app is designed around Bangladesh's network conditions and runs smoothly even on a weak 3G connection.
One of the biggest advantages of the wg8 app is push notifications. Even when you're busy in the kitchen or at the office, wg8 keeps you in the loop — your favorite match is about to start, a new bonus offer has dropped, or your deposit has been credited to your account. These small alerts help you catch the moments that matter.
For live betting, the mobile app is far more convenient than the website. The layout adapts to your screen, load times are faster, and odds update in real time. A user from Rangpur shared, "I watch the match and place live bets all on one phone — it's really something."
Paying via bKash, Nagad, or Rocket on the wg8 app is just as easy as on the website — actually easier in many cases, since the app remembers your payment method and you won't need to re-enter your number on your next deposit. Your transaction history is also all in one place.
The wg8 app offers extra security features. On Android, you can log in with Fingerprint Lock; on iOS, Face ID or Touch ID is supported. No more worrying about forgetting your password or someone else seeing it. Set it up once, and you're in with a single tap every time.
Abu from Sylhet says, "I used to play on my laptop. Ever since I installed the wg8 app, I do everything on my phone — I can even place cricket bets while riding the bus." Shila from Mymensingh adds, "The app runs really smoothly on iOS. It loads instantly, and once you're in with Face ID, everything is ready to go." These experiences speak for themselves — it's exactly why the wg8 app has taken off so quickly across Bangladesh.
Good news for new users: registering for the first time through the wg8 app unlocks an exclusive app-only bonus that isn't available on the website. If you haven't downloaded the app yet, this bonus alone is worth giving it a try.
The current version of the app has dark mode enabled by default — easy on the eyes and ideal for nighttime use. Games can be played in full screen, which isn't possible on a web browser. wg8 has also announced that an AR-based sports stats feature is coming in the next update.
