Lottery is nothing new to the people of Bangladesh. Growing up, we all saw lottery tickets at street corners, fairs, and neighbourhood shops. wg8 has reimagined that familiar experience entirely. From buying a ticket to checking results, everything happens on your mobile in minutes — no more worrying about losing a paper ticket or hunting down a shop.
What sets wg8 Lottery apart is transparency. Results are published on the site the moment each draw is complete, and every winning number is fully verifiable. There is no room for manipulation or behind-the-scenes trickery, because number selection uses RNG (Random Number Generator) technology that is internationally certified. Many people in Bangladesh have raised concerns about fraud with old paper lotteries — that simply cannot happen at wg8.
Mohammad Ali from Rajshahi shared: "I was nervous the first time I bought a weekly lottery ticket. But when the results came in on draw night, I could see everything was happening exactly as promised. In the third week, I won ৳35,000 — paid straight to my bKash." Experiences like this are what make wg8 Lottery trusted.
One great thing about wg8 Lottery is that a single ticket gives you a chance to win across multiple prize tiers — from the 8th tier all the way up to the 1st. Even matching just the bonus ball earns you a free ticket, so the chances of walking away empty-handed are very slim. This multi-tier system is what sets wg8 apart from other lotteries.
She lives in a small village in the hills of Rangamati, far from the nearest town. Buying a ticket in person was never an option for her — but through the wg8 app, she entered the special Eid lottery from home and won a ৳1,20,000 prize. "Living up in the hills, I never imagined winning something this big could be so easy. wg8 has truly reached everyone, everywhere." That says it all about what wg8 stands for.
The special festival lotteries throughout the year are in a league of their own. wg8 hosts Grand Draws for Eid ul-Fitr, Eid ul-Adha, Pohela Boishakh, and Victory Day. The prize pools for these draws are significantly larger — more participants join during these occasions, which naturally drives the pool higher. The idea of pairing the joy of celebration with the thrill of a lottery has clearly struck a chord with people across Bangladesh.
Here's something worth knowing — wg8 offers a lottery subscription feature. You can set it up once and your ticket gets entered automatically every week with the same numbers. No need to remember each Friday; your numbers will always be in the draw. Many regular players prefer this method because it means never missing a draw.
Claiming your prize is just as easy. The moment a draw ends, winners receive an instant notification on their phone. Smaller prizes are credited to your account balance right away. For larger prizes, the support team reaches out to complete a quick verification — typically within 24 hours.
